| Types
Of Appraisals
A real estate
appraisal is usually performed to determine the true market value of a
home or property. An appraisal can be performed for all kinds of
reasons. Most are done as a Full Appraisal with an Interior Inspection.
There are times
that an Exterior Only Appraisal is what is needed for whatever reason.
These types of appraisals are performed by examining the property from
the street and then getting tax information for the age, size, extras and
so on. This type of appraisal is not considered the norm, but actually
is done quite often for a variety of reasons.
Sometimes, the
person or company ordering the appraisal wants a different type of form
for the appraisal to be based upon.
The purpose
of the appraisal itself can sometimes determine what kind of form a person
or company would like the results delivered upon.
I am fully experienced
with all of the types of forms used for residential real estate appraising.
Below is a list
of the most common types of appraisal reports:
Standard Full Residential
Appraisal completed on the Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR).
Exterior Only Appraisal
completed on the FNMA form 2055
Interior Appraisal
completed on the FNMA form 2055.
Vacant Land forms.
Many other
types of appraisal forms are available. This is just a short list of the
available forms that are the most popular. If you are unfamiliar
with what type and form of appraisal you need, I will help you decide which
is the most appropriate for your needs.
